Just wild about Harry…Potter that is
I have a confession to make: I’m not a Harry Potter fan. I’ve never read any of the books and I’ve only seen one of the movies. Insert your gasps here. Yes, I know that I’m part of a very small minority but I guess I’m just not a fan of the fantasy genre. Having said that, experiencing Harry Potter: The Exhibition at the Ontario Science Centre has sparked my interest in the series.
Summer in April
It’s not summer yet but it certainly felt like it today in the GTA with temps soaring to a record-breaking 22 degrees! We decided to enjoy the weather by visiting the town of Kleinburg, just a 20-minute drive north of Toronto.

When I was a child, spending my summer vacations in rural Portugal, a distant relative of mine pointed to the bats flying around their house and told me to be careful. The story was that the bats were bloodsuckers, who would latch on to any warm-blooded animal, including myself, for a nightly snack.
