Phil Raby is a journalist who has worked in media for more than 20 years as a print reporter, photographer, editor, videographer and television producer. His freelance writing appears regularly in Moneysense magazine and Today’s Parent.

In addition, he is the former communications manager for Car Help Canada and a consumer trustee for the Ontario Motor Vehicle Dealer’s Compensation Fund. He also sits on the communications committee for the Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council. Phil is also an instructor in the Journalism Department at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.

Anna Rodrigues worked in television news for 13 years as a reporter and producer. Five of those years were spent on the award-winning investigative program Silverman Helps where she dealt with a multitude of consumer issues on a daily basis.  Her work on that program garnered seven awards including two Edward R. Murrow awards.

She is also a freelance travel writer whose work has been published in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers in North America.  Anna teaches Journalism and New Media courses at Durham College and is the developer/administrator of a social network called Global Student Journalists.

Phil and Anna also run two other businesses: Consumer Couple, a website dedicated to consumer issues and Festoon, an online retailer of modern furniture and lighting
