Anna Rodrigues worked in television news for 13 years as a reporter and producer. She is also a freelance travel writer whose work has been published in a wide variety of magazines and newspapers in North America.  Anna teaches Journalism and New Media courses at Durham College and is the developer/administrator of a social network called Global Student Journalists.  She also launched a hyperlocal blog called Downtown Oshawa News – a unique project-based experience for senior journalism students at Durham College.
